about
Here is a track from the upcoming album Dizzy Days. It will be a ten track album broken into two five song parts. Act I: Splitting Down The Middle and Act II: Fault Lines/Redemption. This song is from Act I which should be ready for a full release by the fall of 2019 while Act II will follow by the first of 2020. I hope you enjoy as this will be the ONLY release until the album is finished and ready to see the light of day.
lyrics
Never You Mind
Let it all change I don't mind
Do what you want see what you find
If it's magic that you seek well keep looking
Do watch your step, try not to lose your footing
Three more cheers for hypocrisy
As we raise a toast to your mediocrity
I'll make all the changes it's fine
So don't worry, never you mind
Several plans to follow that you've devised
Guess you never learned to compromise
The logic in your theory's severely lacking
Your moves are free, my moves you're always tracking
Validation comes at a high price
If it comes once at all don't expect it twice
Missed something, I must've gone blind
But don't tell me, never you mind
Bridge:
Start out on the path to glory
Middle of the road end of story
I could sing you a line straight to your ear
But would it have the same effect this time next year?
Can you tell when you're being inconsiderate?
Open mind? Cold heart? You never know the difference
An opinion that differs isn't really a wrong a answer
And your foul attitude's far less the mood enhancer
I'm the whipping boy paying for the role of past suitors
Feeling as outdated as an analog computer
I could try my very best to relax and unwind
But I don't see that happening never you mind
